Just three weeks ago Chuck Cohen came to Bacup and spoke about Israel and the Church. The power of The Holy Spirit was present. His message was solidly based on Scripture, much of it taken from the Tanach, which we call the Old Testament (the Bible Jesus and the apostles used). As a Jew who follows Jesus, he spoke with special understanding. Those who were there will remember the power and authenticity of Chuck’s words. He also was blessed to see so many present, eager to listen and open to the truth about God’s plan of salvation. Pam Smith, of Methodist Friends of Israel also shared her heart for the Church to grasp the truth of these crucial issues as she introduced Chuck to us. We hope we will see them again in Rossendale. Chuck has by now returned to Jerusalem, continuing his work with Intercessors for Israel. For us at the Prayerhub, it was a privilege to host this event. We thank God for their ministry and continue to hold them in prayer. Please contact us if you want to know more about the subject and other areas related to Chuck’s message.
THE MAGDALENE PROJECT
For those of you who don’t know, the Magdalene Project is a Christian organisation based in Bacup that offers counselling to those who have suffered sexual trauma and abuse and other emotional issues. They are expanding their remit to work increasingly with children as well as adults. All their work is undergirded with prayer and we ask you to support them in prayer also. But part of their need is for financial provision. We received this message from them and pass it on to you. Please take the time to vote for them for this award.
“Please help us win funding for our community.
The Young Person’sCommunityCounsellor (YPCC) is a new project proposal designed by The Magdalene Project to give a free psychotherapy counselling service to teenagers and young adults of Rossendale suffering from 21st century abuses such as: suicidal thoughts, sexual abuse, self-harming, self-loathing, drug abuse, anger issues, cyber bullying, online grooming, gang membership, depression and rejection. In order to win the funding we need your votes, please vote via this link, you can use all 10 votes for our project.
I am asking you specially to pray also for the Prayerhub team and their families. A number of the team are going through difficult times of trial. We know that God will use every circumstance of our lives to bring good and glory to his name - ‘And we know that in all things God works for the goodof those who love him, whohave been calledaccording to his purpose’ (Romans 8:28).
Through such trials our faith is also purified. Please pray for the strength to endure and to see the victory of the cross and resurrection for all our team. We continue to pray for the purpose and will of God to be fulfilled in our churches and community. We long to see the glory of God filling our land.

It is our heart's desire to see revival - for many individuals to come to Christ, for many to be healed and for there to be healing of relationships and families throughout our community. Only God can do this and we pray for a mighty outpouring of his Holy Spirit.
